Norman Ridge is a neighborhood of West Bloomington that is located just northwest of the intersection of Normandale Boulevard and 94th Street. The neighborhood is made up of around 300 single family homes that range between $200,000 to $600,000 in price, not including a few executive homes that average around $900,000. Homes styles in Norman Ridge are primarily a mix of two story ramblers and traditional. Norman Ridge is an excellent family friendly community offering great homes for sale and excellent location.

 

One of the most abundant amenities available to residents of Norman Ridge is the amount of parks in the surrounding area. Normandale Lake Park in Bloomington, MinnesotaThe most prominent park is Highland Park. Highland Park is a part of the Three Rivers Park District and is one of the premier outdoor recreational destinations in the south metro area. The park features numerous recreational amenities such as a disc golf course, ski area, playground, nature center, trails, and more. Other nearby parks include Norman Ridge Playground, Ridgeview Playground, and Nord Myr Park. Residents of Norman Ridge can shop at various shopping centers in the area including the Eden Prairie Shopping Center to the northwest. The shopping center contains a Starbucks, McDonald’s, Arby’s, Barnes & Noble, Panera, and more.

 

Norman Ridge is a part of Independent School District 271, also known as Bloomington Public Schools, which consists of 22Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota different schools. The closest school to residents of the neighborhood is Ridgeview Elementary, which serves around 400 students in grades K-5. The student to teacher ratio at the school is 16.3 and is ranked first among elementary schools in Bloomington. Other nearby schools include Normandale Hills Elementary, Bethany Academy, and Olson Elementary and Middle School.
